Want to know where I am? Have you been missing me?
Well, then, you should have signed up for the May LOAD! ;) I've been scrapping my little heart out, creating 11 layouts so far this month... and we have over 1000 in the gallery! Go, us!!
I'm also packing to move to Boston in a few short weeks. And my laptop died. So that means little (if any) computer time! The gremlins thought they'd throw one more monkey wrench at me before I left for New England. That means no podcasts until I get a new system, and it also means that my half-finished Snippets Too is gone. :( Boo hoo, boo hoo, boo hoo. If I had more energy I'd have a nervous breakdown).
But enough about me! Here's some info from my fellow Simple Scrapbooks board member Karen Glenn:
<<Hey fellow simple scrappers!
I'm not usually one to send out mass emails or forwards, but I could really
use your help, so I hope you will understand.
You may or may not be aware that I have a daughter, Amelia, who suffers from
a rare and debilitating form of childhood epilepsy called Dravet syndrome.
Because of this condition, she struggles with hundreds--even thousands--of
seizures on an almost daily basis and has global developmental delays.
I serve on the Board of an international non-profit called the IDEA League
whose purpose is to further education and awareness, research, and support
for Dravet syndrome. We are the only organization in the world dedicated
specifically to this cause.
How can you help? All you need to do is:
1. Click here:
www.facebook.com/pages/BetOnline-Everest-Challenge/79784636388?ref=nf
2. Sign on as a fan
3. Post on their wall that you are voting for the IDEA League (commenting
on someone else's post will not count)
4. Encourage your friends and family who are on Facebook to do the same.
The charity with the most votes by May 15th will win $20,000! We need
everyone to get and vote. I believe you can vote through Twitter as well :)
To learn more about Dravet syndrome and the IDEA League, go to

Thanks so much for your support! With your help, we can win this!

Back soon!!!
Good for Karen for doing something like this ... I voted for them. I hope they win

Glad to know you're still alive! Thought you were probably in the middle of moving and loading. So sorry about Snippets Too!! I know what you mean about having enough energy for a nervous breakdown. My DH said to me the other day, "You're so calm....." LOL! If he only knew... Good luck, I'm looking forward to new podcasts when you have the time. No pressure!

I gasped out loud at learning you lost Snippets Too! OH NO! Well, you had it memorized, right? ;) Good luck with your move. I'm thinking of you!

I'm so sorry to hear about you losing all the work on the Snippets sequel. Do you think you can re-create it fairly easily? I bet once you start writing again, it'll come back to you. :)
