Hurray, it's Thursday! Here's what I have for you:
Honestly, this layout took about 20 minutes. Part of the "speed" is that I didn't do any journaling (gasp!). And part of the speed was that many of the products were pre-screened to go together, as part of the super-cool monthly kit from Serendipity Scrapbooks. I'll be talking more about them in my next podcast (coming soon -- I promise!).
Materials: (all items from the April SS kit unless otherwise noted) patterned paper, cardstock heart, cardstock letters (3Bugs in a Rug) + burlap + chipboard letters (Cosmo Cricket, my stash) + ribbon (Rusty Pickle, my stash) + letters (Making Memories, my stash) + bling (Heidi Swapp) + Stickles (Ranger).
Last week's winner...Andrea! Love the stitching and that cute baby face. Send me your address again, chica.
Now, I'm giving you two weeks for this next one because next Thurs. I will be on my way to CHA... Scrap your favorite song. You can use it as an inspiration jumping-off point, use the lyrics, whatever. Share! 30 minutes or less, please. :)
I love the page! And the picture of your son is very cute.
I gotta get back into the groove.

Wow, Thank you! I really like your use of the burlap and love the alphas with the arrows on them. Really cute photo too, gotta love that pure happiness. I'm curious where you got the burlap?

Unfortunately this took WAY longer than 30 minutes but I still wanted to post because I'm really happy you inspired me to scrap my favorite song, I like to consider it my Anthem. Its Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" the lyrics always remind me how much happiness my two little birds bring me and now matter how stressful life can get that "every little thing's gonna be alright".

I'm going to the Dave Matthews Band concert this Saturday, so my layout is a request to them to play my favorite song, "Dancing Nancies." This page was a quick one since I have a journaling spot ready to add my journaling after the concert this weekend. I even have a pocket to put the ticket stubs in all ready to go!
