Our Goodreads bookclub is discussing Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, right NOW!
It was one of the best books I've read in a very long time, and I highly recommend it. Stop in any time to join in the discussion.

Hi Lain
Thanks so much for replying I was chuffed to receive your email (I did try to email you back but it didn't work!). I looked back on my Cheryl Richardson newsletters and the one I mentioned was Week 13 Clean Up Week and it mentioned releasing old energy. Sometimes we hold on to things because we made a commitment to do it but things change andsometimes what was appropriate then isn't now. I think it is especially hard if you are a person who honours their word but for the sake of "your self" you need to let it go, sometimes when you do you feel an amazing sense ofrelief/release. Also sometimes it is about timing and it doesn't mean you give up on a goal or a dream it just may not be the right time.I'm not good at letting things go and at the beginning of the year I started your LOAD (which I thought was fabulous and gave me lots of fabulous ideas). Unfortunately I had to let that go, it was school holidays and we went on a couple of family holidays during the month so it became impossible for me to keep up - it was all about the timing.I'm sorry to say it wasn't me you had dinner with! I live in New Zealand. Good luck and thanks for all your inspiration and sharing!Kind regards Angela

yes, this was one of the best books I have read in a long time. Don't you love it when others dicover something you love, and then love it too?
There has to be a shorter name for it.

Loved this book! My family then went to see the circus shortly after I read it --- I looked at the performers a completely different way!

I finally FINALLY got it from the library last night. I'll gobble it up tonight after Guides and be ready to chat tomorrow!

I've heard good things about this book. I think my mom has it on Audible. I may give it a listen during housework and watch the discussion.

It's actually quite weird but my husband got this in his office last week (we get shipments of books, it's a morale thing) and one of his coworkers pointed it out to me. I've grabbed it and it's sitting in the trunk of my minivan, but I'm currently reading The Kite Runner (which is AWESOME!) and I haven't picked it up yet.
The weird thing is that we normally don't have the books you are talking about in your book club (or any book club, for that matter) and I have this one. How strange. Perhaps I will follow the discussion on this one.
