Okay, this is the third time I've written the same message. Darn Typepad anyway -- as soon as you click away from this page, your unsaved entry disappears (though the title stays -- tell me why that is???)
Anyway, if you are a knitter you will want to read on... And you'll want to sign up for Lain's Super-Duper Stitch Marker Swap! Leave a comment to this message by 2/18 (my bday -- a good a day as any to make a deadline). Then I'll match up partners. You'll make 10 fabu markers and send 'em out to meet their fiber destiny, and receive 10 in return. How fun is that?
Here are a few tutorials to get you started:
Sign up now! Ragan, you know you want to...
Edit: I'm trying to decide if it would be better (i.e., more fun) to send 5 markers to two people, or all 10 to one. Let me know what you think in the comments.
teehee
i am such a new knitter
i don't even know what to do
with a stitch marker,
much less how to make one...
heh heh...
but sounds like a good idea
for those of you are who do know
:)

I'm in! Do we make 10 and send them to 10 diff people? Or do all 10 go to one person? This is a pretty neat idea. Let me know what I need to do to send my info!

I'm in! I enjoy making stitch markers, and I do love getting mail. I think 5 each to two different people would be fun. That way everyone gets to enjoy the creativity of two different people (and get two packages in the mail).

Count me in. I made a set of stitch markers for a KR gift exchange and it was a lot of fun.

Please count me in. I like the idea of sending 5 stitch markers to two different people. You get to meet two new people and you get variety.

Two people, more mail, I LOVE IT. I'm sending the word to all knitters!

I'm in. Prefer to send 2 sets of 5 to 2 diff people, but 10 to 1 person is fine too.

I'd love to join the swap as well! It sounds like fun!
I don't have any preference for which way to swap.

I would like to join too. When I have done swaps in the past, we made as many items as there are participants. Everybody mails their items to the hostess and she sends one of each to everybody. That way everybody gets to try everything. It does make more work for the hostess, but you get to see more ideas. Also, everybody contributes a little cash to cover packaging and postage.
I will happily go along with whatever you decide, more is better in my book.

I'm in too! I love making stitch markers! I think 5 each to 2 people...although 10 each to 2 people would be twice as much fun LOL. I love receiving stitch markers!

I'm in, too. =) I prefer to swap with two people, though I'd suggest six instead of five. I live even numbers. =)
