Sing with me now, babies!
I have always loved this song, but ever since the Dan in Real Life post, I haven't been able to stop singing it. My kids even ask me to sing it to them, and considering my singing voice, that's desperation. ;)
When I was in college, my boyfriend's roommate and I used to call the local radio station virtually every night and request this song. We both loved it and it brings back fond memories... Aram, if you are reading this, I still laugh when I think about your boomerang fish act imitation!
To make the curve, I used this bendy ruler thingy from C-thru Ruler. These are great because you can make the curve anyway you want, then straighten it out and use it again and again and again. I also play with mine like silly putty. It's not as bendable as all that, but it is still fun. If you don't have one, I suggest you pick one up. They're relatively inexpensive, lots of fun, and useful too! :) BoBunny makes a cute pink one if you need to be color-coordinated.
and just went with it from there. Other products:
American Crafts flowers, Heidi Swapp ghost shape, KaiserCraft rub-ons, EK Success punch, We R Memory Keepers patterned paper, Die Cuts with a View rub-on stitches...
The most time consuming part was lining up the rub-ons. That always takes a ton of time!
Winner:
Katie! She scrapped a song by Jason Mraz. Thanks for playing, my friends.
Now, for next month (yes, I am giving myself a whole month on this one... by September 25) I want to see a page done with at least 3 photos... make 'em summer memories... have fun, and keep it under 30 minutes!

Cute layout, Lain! Love the curve, but love the great havin' fun looks on your faces even more!
Way to go, Katie! That was a lovely layout.
At least 3 summer memory photos. That's going to be fun, too! I've been really tickled to get so many of my summer pics scrapped already!
Did you come play with the Big Wigs last weekend? What a great party! I wanted to share my Make & Take (from Georgana Hall) with you - NOT my 30-Minute Thursday submission - but this 2-pager took maybe 45 minutes? It's a cool concept for getting a bunch of memories scrapped quick!
I think this will work ...

I even took a picture for this and never got around to scrapping. Maybe a month will be enough time ?!!!

Love that curve and super cute picture. I still laugh at the "put it on my tab" line from Dan IRL. I agree Katie had a great song lyrics LO!

Lain,
Thanks for the great layout inspiration. This is my first 30-minute challenge. I finished this last night, and it took me exactly 30 minutes!

Love that LO. I have one of those curves but have never used it - you've given me incentive!
